DOW CORNING LAUNCHES SILANES WEB SITE
NEW SITE PROVIDES PRODUCT APPLICATION, SOLUTIONS INFORMATION
MIDLAND, Michigan, U.S.A.: August 25, 2004 – A new web site from Dow Corning provides product, application, and solution information on a full range of silanes, which can be used as adhesion promoters, coupling agents, crosslinking agents, hydrophobers and surface modifiers.
At www.dowcorning/silanes, customers can explore the chemistry of silanes and learn which product best serves their application. Silanes are used in a variety of markets, including fiberglass and composites; mineral and filler treatment; paints, inks, and coatings; pharmaceutical; plastics and rubber; sealants and adhesives; and water repellents and surface protection.
The site also links to the page for the recently inaugurated Dow Corning Surface & Interface Solutions Center (SISC) at Seneffe in Belgium, a world-class resource through which customers can discover and develop innovative technologies and applications for organosilane and silicon-based chemicals.
