Husky appoints Jani Laatikainen to Finland Area Manager

Husky Injection Molding Systems (Nordic) A/S has appointed Jani Laatikainen Area Manager for Finland, where he will be responsible for sales and technical support.

“Jani brings important application experience in plastics manufacturing, making him a valuable addition to our team,” says Kris Kristensen, General Manager, Husky Injection Molding Systems (Nordic) A/S. “Jani’s local contacts and in-depth production knowledge will help us strengthen our presence in this important geographical area.”

“Our country has a substantial plastics production base,” says Laatikainen. “It is going to be exciting to work for a market leader in injection molding systems, and I am especially happy to provide direct, local support to customers.”

Prior to joining Husky, Laatikainen most recently was a production engineer for Owens-Illinois Plastics Oy, a Finnish manufacturer of thermoplastic containers.

Laatikainen’s education includes graduation from the plastics engineering program at North Karelia Polytechnic and, earlier, mathematics and information technology studies at the University of Joensuu, Finland.
