Trespa at Batimat in 2007

At Batimat in Paris, Trespa International will focus on a number of innovations for exterior use. Key amongst these are the new ideas within the Trespa's Perspectives concept. These were conceived to inspire architects and designers with creative solutions for building façades with Trespa Meteon.

Trespa Meteon panels were developed specifically for use as façade cladding panels and are recognised as an imaginative material for innovative façade design. Thousands of architects have already discovered how Trespa Meteon's wide range of colours, decors, textures and finishes gived them almost unlimited design opportunities. Today, many more of them know that they want to use Trespa Meteon, but may not be fully aware of the endless possibilities which the material offers.

Trespa Perspectives is the means to stimulate new ideas and realise new designs. It provides a communication platform for demonstrating creative applications, designed to show how Trespa materials can be used in façades creatively in new and different ways. Its purpose is to help and inspire architects and designers who are looking for creative solutions for building in general and for cladding in particular. Perspectives opens up even more opportunities to give buildings their own unique identity.

By visiting http://perspectives.trespa.com and clicking on “Projects”, you can meet other imaginative architects and designers who have already been inspired by the Perspectives concept and have used it for some of today’s most exciting building façades.

Building on the success of the original Perspectives concept, Trespa will introduce at Batimat a range of new ideas within three original themes:

• RHYTHM - based on an exciting new range of coordinated colours, from vivid and strong to light and dark, together with different textures, other surface treatments and special colours. Samples, special colourcards and other tools help designers to select and combine colours to give buildings a new look.

• CHARACTER – using concealed LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) to accentuate curves, joints and colours, to give shape to shadows and character to spaces or surfaces and to achieve interesting new dimensions and effects, both by day and at night.

• DEPTH - by using curved panels alone or in combination with traditional flat panels to create interesting new dimensions and effects. The only HPL (high pressure laminate) panels which can be curved for external use, from a minimum radius of 600mm to specials, and are available in a wide range of colours.

In addition to design, Trespa is strongly focused on high quality, durability and environmental considerations.

The Trespa team will be on hand to provide explanations, answer questions and demonstrate how further variations may be achieved by the choice and detailing of more physical aspects such as visible or invisible fixing systems, serrated or plain edges and other devices.
