From strength to strength:
Trespa expands Meteon Natural Prints range
Following last year’s successful introduction of Trespa Meteon Natural Prints, Trespa International has announced that it is to expand its collection of wood prints, adding five new designs, again designed by Rolf Warda.
Trespa Meteon Natural Prints is a collection of high quality façade cladding panels, combining the warmth of wood with Trespa durability and quality. The collection was first introduced in 2003 – and has proved to be so successful, that the man behind the first collection, international designer Rolf Warda, was invited to create a further five contemporary designs with a touch of Nature.
The five new designs are:
Loft Brown: a brown companion colour to Loft Grey – sophisticated, attractive and timeless.
Montreux Amber: a natural warm yellow – immediate, natural and lively.
Montreux Sunglow: a whisky coloured red brown tint – direct, comfortable and homely.
Italian Walnut: most popular of all modern wood colours - contemporary, warm and detailed.
Wenge: revival of 1960’s elegance in dark wood - traditional, international and classy.
As before, the new designs combine the warmth of wood with the durability of Trespa. Rolf Warda: “We are currently in the middle of a wood renaissance as architects and specifiers are increasingly looking for links with the natural world. So we have drawn our inspiration from wood as a natural resource and a building material. Each panel reflects the natural world and captures the timeless beauty of true wood, for enduring exterior designs.”
He adds: “They have a perfect fit as part of any modern building – alone or in combination with other Trespa ranges or products.”
As with all Trespa Meteon panels, Natural Prints consist of 70% soft-wood fibre and 30% thermoset resin. Natural Prints were already available in four distinctly different designs, created by Rolf Warda to evoke the versatility of wood and reflect man’s close relationship with Nature:
•Loft Grey: A reflection of weathered wood - creative, modern and avant-garde
•Elegant Oak: Lively Italian light oak – young, measured and colourful
•Harmony Oak: Medium oak colouring – traditional, elegant and familiar
•Pacific Board: Life on or near the seven seas – classic, exotic and stylish
Trespa Meteon Natural Prints are available in sizes up to a maximum of 3650 cm x 1860 cm and various thicknesses, ranging from 8 mm to 13 mm. Easy to combine with other Meteon products and other building materials, these panels are set to become a firm favourite with architects from all over the world. Not surprising, because Natural Prints are easy to install and maintain. And in addition to their great looks, these panels have all the functional benefits associated with Trespa Meteon façade cladding: they are guaranteed weatherproof – resistant to UV radiation, colourfast and impact resistant. Once installed, they will keep their great looks for years.
Rolf Warda: “The environment can be exceptionally wearing on building materials, affecting the look and the overall performance over time. It is here that the unique combination of great looks and Trespa durability will make the difference.”
