PolyOne Unveils Value-Creating Solutions,Bio-friendly Breakthrough at Chinaplas 2008

SHANGHAI, China (April 17, 2008) – PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL), a leading global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, is featuring innovations in biopolymer injection molding at Chinaplas 2008, the 22nd International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries. PolyOne is highlighting its color and additives solutions as part of the Company’s drive to provide greater value to customers through a process that helps quantify the economic benefit of using the Company’s portfolio of solutions including:

•OnCap™ Thermoplastic Additive Concentrates, which enhance part performance, improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce manufacturing downtime and enable smooth product transitions.

•OnCap™ PlastOne™ Additive Concentrates, which reduce cycle times, lower scrap rates and improve part aesthetics.
